Ida Sim Elected to the National Academy of Medicine
Ida Sim, MD, PhD. has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), one of an elite group of 100 scholars and leaders in health and medicine elected this year from across the U.S. and the world.
She joins three other DGIM faculty in the Academy: Steve Schroeder, Steve Cummings, and Eliseo Perez-Stable.
Election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service.
