Assistant Professor

Dr. Maki Aoki is an Assistant Clinical Professor in General Internal Medicine. She sees patients in primary care at Mt Zion DGIM and in urgent care at the Screening and Acute Care Clinic at Parnassus. She also precepts medical residents and students in both of these clinics. She has special clinical interest in behavioral health, addiction medicine and complex chronic disease management. She also has a passion for population health management through system based quality improvement measures and addressing disparities in health outcomes through this approach.
